The American film industry is arguably the most renowned and prolific in the world. However, those who exclusively watch American movies risk missing out on the many great and diverse works that hail from the rest of the world.

Foreign films, narrated and performed in a foreign tongue, are windows into a new culture. The audience is privy to the different customs, gestures, landscapes and ways of speaking of another culture, without the filtration and inauthenticity of seeing the movie through an American lens.
