Danny DeVito & wife Rhea Perlman bring an end to 30 years of marriage

Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman, one of Hollywood’s seemingly inseparable couples, announced that they brought an end to their long-tenured marriage on Monday (October 8, 2012). The “Throw Momma from the Train” actor and the “Cheers” actress decided to part ways following 30 years of wedded life. Rhea Perlman first met her partner Danny DeVito when she went to see a friend in an off-Broadway play, “The Shrinking Bride,” which featured the “Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star. The diminutive pair lived together for 11 years before tying the knot in January 1982. They shared three adult children together, 29-year-old Lucy, 27-year-old Grace and 25-year-old Jacob. Apart from working together on the smash hit “Taxi” and 1996 film “Matilda,” Danny DeVito and wife Rhea Perlman also established Jersey Films, the production company which has produced a number of hit movies including “Erin Brockovich,” “Pulp Fiction” and “Garden State.”
