Wine Yeast, despite of being the most in-expensive supplies of the wine making process is arguably the most important ingredient since yeasts are responsible for converting the sugar into alcohol and co2 so to brew wine successfully at home it’s quite necessary to ensure that yeast is properly prepared so it can function properly otherwise your wine will not ferment well.
For home Brewers, the rehydration of wine becomes especially important to ensure thorough fermentation. Once after you have gone to the trouble of selecting the ingredients for your wine like fresh fruits, aroma, hopes skipping a simple 5 step process to save a bit of time can be self defeating and can create the difference that exists between a good wine and great wine.
