Ronald Wayne Koski died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth.
He was born to Waino and Esther Koski on April 13, 1934, in Idington, Minn. He grew up in Cook, where he graduated from Cook High School in 1952. He served in the U.S. Army and Reserve until his honorable discharge in 1962. He married Doris Simonson on Aug. 19, 1957, in Stuttgart, Germany. He worked in the mining industry until starting Koski TV Service in Britt in 1964. After retiring in 1990, he built a home in Idington on the Koski family homestead where he enjoyed living until his death.
He loved being with his family and entertaining guests at home and at the lake cabin. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and pool player.
