Sweet tooth: Montana-based ice cream shop to open in Bozeman | Economy


Fans of frozen treats, rejoice.

Sweet Peaks Ice Cream, a handmade ice cream company based in Whitefish, is set to open a store in Bozeman in April.

Located in the old Rockford Coffee building on the corner of Seventh Avenue and Main Street, the shop will offer more than a dozen flavors from honey cinnamon to Madagascar vanilla, as well as homemade waffle cones.

The Bozeman parlor will also have an ice cream truck for use during the spring and summer months.

“We have been eyeing Bozeman for a few years now,” said Sam Dauenhauer, 34, who owns the shop with his wife Marissa Keenan. “We love the community and have been encouraged by the many friends and fans who live in the area to bring Sweet Peaks to the community.”
